description This study aimed to determine the relationship between safety management practices, such as Management Commitment, Safety Training, Operator's Involvement, Safety Communication and Feedback, Safety Rules and Procedures, and Safety Promotion Policies, and radiation safety awareness among students of the Malaysian Air Defence Artillery Radar Course. A total of 148 questionnaires were distributed to respondents selected using simple random sampling from a population of 230 students in the radar course. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed using correlation analysis with the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 27. The study aimed to fill a knowledge gap in understanding how the safety management practices influence radiation safety awareness in a specific context. In this study, strong positive correlations were found between safety management practices such as management commitment, safety training, and operator involvement and radiation safety awareness among ADA Radar Course students, highlighting the critical role these practices play in enhancing radiation safety awareness. Despite some limitations, the study contributes to the understanding of the relationship between safety management practices and radiation safety awareness among students in this specific context.
