सारांश:With the increasing competition in the corporate world, it becomes imperative that the employees are provided with a healthy office to ensure that the employees perform well which will contribute towards the achievement of the organization. Employee performance is shaped by various factors and this study has examined one of those factors and that is occupational stress or stress coming from work, workloads and the work environment. The research studied a sample size of 98 employees in order to find out the relationship between these factors to employee performance. A positive, resourceful and friendly culture will bolster performance by inspiring employees, increasing satisfaction at work, and encouraging productivity. It was established in the present study, job stress management was seen to show a moderate positive relationship with performance stating when stress is controlled at an appropriate level, it helps to inspire the employees and the performance outcomes are better. Through practice of good governance wherein the right resources, management and stress management programs are provided, job stress levels can be improved which will drive out the best outputs from the employees. Likewise, workload also had a good correlation with performance stating a feasible amount of workload is required to get the best out of the employees’ however an overload of work will have debilitating consequences on an employee’s wellness and overall output. These findings highlight the need to tackle work-related stress in a blended manner to aid better performance from employees and make the organization competitive. Building up on such active and professional organizations will only motivate employees to do their best, thus helping achieve organizational targets. This study offers practical solutions for organizations that wish to effectively minimize occupational stress while maximizing employee performance.
