description The demand for a skilled workforce in Malaysia highlights the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). This study focuses on the factors influencing the job performance of TVET teachers at Vocational College Sultan Abdul Samad, using the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model. It investigates the impact of technical and pedagogical competencies, continuous professional development, interpersonal competencies, institutional support, and work-life balance on job performance through a structured questionnaire distributed to 69 teachers, employing correlation and regression analyses. Results indicate that technical and pedagogical competency and interpersonal skills significantly enhance teacher performance. Work-life balance showed a moderate positive correlation but was not a significant predictor, while continuous professional development and institutional support lacked significant relationships with performance. The study suggests further exploration into the indirect effects of these factors to improve TVET educator performance within the MADANI Economy Framework.
