Summary:Employee engagement is important to organisational success, especially in the dynamic and competitive retail industry. This research explores the relationships between job satisfaction, training and development, employee recognition, and employee engagement at Pasaraya Borong Sakan in Selangor. Utilizing a quantitative approach, surveys were distributed via Google Forms to gather data from employees. The findings indicate that all three independent variables—job satisfaction, training and development, and employee recognition—exhibit positive relationships with employee engagement. This study concludes that enhancing job satisfaction is crucial for fostering employee engagement within the retail sector. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of training and development, as employees value these opportunities for personal and professional growth. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of how these factors influence employee engagement, providing insights for organizations aiming to improve their workplace environment and employee morale.
