Description
Summary:The study was conducted with the aim to identify the factors that lead to stress and its impact on secondary school teachers. The main objective of this study is to see the relationship between the factors that cause stress and its effects.Quantitative methods were used to determine the connections between all independent variables (cause of stress) and dependent variables (effects of stress). The samples for this study were obtained from the secondary teachers of Penang Northeast District. There were 101 samples which were collected for the purpose of this study. Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 12.0 software was used to test each hypothesis in this study. The findings of this study suggested that there is a link between the causes of stress (burden of duties, leadership ethics & students’ discipline)with the problem of absenteeism.
