| Résumé: | Awareness of noise is an important factor in reducing noise indeced hearing loss (NIHL) due to noise at work in a competent firm such as DBI Company. Employees are required to comply with the hearing conservation program in raising the level of awareness of noise during work temptation that has a level of acting over 85dB (A). This study was conducted to find out the level of awareness of noise in DBI Company and to know the differences of respondents' demographic with the level of noise awareness. An in-house study on one of the Competent Firms companies involves 87 respondents at the DBI Company. According to the results of the study, the level of
awareness of KPABB is at moderate level and there is a significant difference between age, race, working experience, marital status, and level of study on noise awareness. While there is no significant relationship between noise awareness and gender and the history of a person having experienced noise-related events. |
