Summary:This study was conducted to identify the relationship between safety policy and safety training whether it is related to safety awareness on clinical waste (Bio-medical waste-BMW) among hospital support workers in one of the hospitals in the north. which has been randomly selected. Questionnaire form is used as a medium in measuring the awareness and knowledge of hospital support staff in northern Malaysia.Malaysia. This study was conducted quantitatively and the data were analyzed using T-Test and Annova test. The use of questionnaires was also used in obtaining the required data or information. The overall data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 in conducting data analysis. In implementing safety awareness programs and safe work culture activities, employers should emphasize employee commitment, safety training and management commitment as an important matter that needs to be given attention by management and employees in raising safety awareness in the workplace. This research paper also discusses the findings of the study, the limitations of the study and recommendations for further study.
