This situation contribute high pressure for most organization around the world especially in retaining their best employee in organization. Employee are the most valuable asset for an organization and the biggest priority for organization nowadays to retain and engage their employee for their business success. Target respondent for this study is Generation Y because they become the latest workforce in most of organization and this generation were found hard to retain in the organization for a long period of time. The objective of this study is to explore the relationship between working environment, compensation and benefits and training and development with employee retention among Generation Y in retail industry. The questionnaire was distributed by self-administered and Google Form and the response rate was 307 respondents. The result was analysed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25.0. To explore the relationship, both correlation and multiple regression analysis were used in this study. The finding of this study showed that working environment and training and development has a statistically significant relationship with employee retention among Generation Y in retail industry. Findings of this study may not represent other industry. This study also presented the recommendation for future research and employer to improve and implement retention strategy in their organization.
