Résumé:The study of entrepreneurship business performance is a growing issue for practitioners, the regulatory authorities, and academics. The small and medium enterprises performance measurement literature concentrates in the developed countries. There is an obvious lack of studies especially on the development of small and medium enterprises performance in the developing countries or regions, especially like Bauchi State, Nigeria, with multi-cultural, multi-ethnical diversity. While interest in the development of entrepreneurship performance has gained momentum, a commonly agreed entrepreneurship measurement is still unclear. Therefore, the general objective of the study is to establish the factors affecting entrepreneurship performance among the manufacturing small and medium enterprises in Bauchi State Nigeria. In doing so, the research study, contributes to knowledge by establishing a new entrepreneurship performance measurement variables that are able to effectively measure small and medium enterprises performance in the manufacturing sector of Bauchi state Nigeria, which before this study was lacking. The Recourse-Based theory was used to support the study.
