This study used Social Exchange theory to explain</p><p>the phenomenon. A quantitative approach was utilised as the primary research design.</p><p>Data were collected from a random sample of 380 international postgraduate students</p><p>using a questionnaire. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyse the</p><p>data. The findings indicated a significant relationship between service quality and</p><p>customer loyalty ( =0.103, p<0.05), the marketing strategy significantly and positively</p><p>affects the positive emotional satisfaction ( = 0.509, p< 0.05). Service quality affects</p><p>the positive emotional satisfaction ( = 0.214, p< 0.05). Moreover, the findings showed</p><p>that positive emotional satisfaction significantly mediated the relationship between</p><p>service quality and customer loyalty. The negative emotion satisfaction was found to</p><p>be minimally affected by the service quality. In conclusion, the marketing strategy was</p><p>found to be a significant dominant factor that affects customer loyalty as mediated by</p><p>emotional satisfaction.
