Karya ini dipercayai memiliki sesuatu pendekatan yang mendalam, bersistem dan beremosi dalam memastikan penghasilannya berkesan di telinga, mata dan jiwa pendengar. Metodologi yang digunakan untuk persembahan ini ada dua proses artistik iaitu kritikal dan intuitif. Pada bahagian artistik kritikal, aktiviti yang dijalankan merupakan analisis dan pemerhatian manakala bahagian artistik intuitif lebih kepada pemikiran dan pemantapan persembahan secara menyeluruh khususnya tahap kebolehan memainkan alat muzik bes elektrik, idea repertoir persembahan dan cara mempersembahkan. Objektif penulisan ini adalah 1) Mempersembahkan improvisasi solo menggunakan bes elektrik pada karya bertajuk _Melodie in Eb_ ciptaan Tchaikovsky, dan 2) menghasilkan idea muzikal improvisasi solo bes elektrik dengan memberi penekanan terhadap aspek emosi muzikal melalui pendekatan artistik tertentu. Penulisan ini akan menjawab persoalan kajian dan menerangkan secara teliti bagaimana proses artistik tersebut di kolaborasi dalam membentuk sebuah persembahan resital. Konsep persembahan ialah berkonsep improvisasi solo bes elektrik dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikomotor dan kognitif iaitu fokus ke arah proses pemantapan kemahiran mempersembahkan dan penyelidikan hubungan improvisasi bes elektrik, idea muzikal dan aspek emosi.
