Walaupun banyak penyelidikan telah dijalankan, kajian tentang kesesuaian kurikulum dalam bidang acara masih kurang. Kajian ini bertujuan meneroka kesesuaian kurikulum Sijil Pengendalian Acara Kolej Komuniti Malaysia dalam memenuhi kebolehpasaran graduan. Kerangka konsep kajian ini menggunakan model penilaian Konteks-Input-Proses-Produk (CIPP) oleh Stufflebeam. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kualitatif melalui pendekatan kajian kes dengan persampelan bertujuan. Sepuluh peserta kajian dipilih daripada lima kategori pihak berkepentingan: penggubal kurikulum, ketua program, pensyarah, majikan industri acara, dan graduan SPA. Kolej Komuniti Pasir Salak, Perak dipilih sebagai lokasi kajian. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik triangulasi dengan temu bual sebagai data primer dan pemerhatian serta dokumen sebagai data sekunder. Data dianalisis secara manual melalui pembentukan tema dan kategori. Hasil kajian menunjukkan empat tema utama: (i) matlamat kurikulum Sijil Pengendalian Acara bersesuaian berdasarkan keadaan industri acara pada masa kini; (ii) kandungan kurikulum, bahan pengajaran dan peralatan pengajaran Sijil Pengendalian Acara Kolej Komuniti Malaysia bersesuaian dalam memenuhi kebolehpasaran graduan bekerja dalam bidang; (iii) pelaksanaan proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran serta aktiviti program yang dilaksanakan bersesuaian terhadap Sijil Pengendalian Acara Kolej Komuniti Malaysia dalam memenuhi kebolehpasaran graduan bekerja dalam bidang, dan; (iv) peluang-peluang pekerjaan dalam bidang terbuka luas terhadap graduan Sijil Pengendalian Acara Kolej Komuniti Malaysia.
