The correct use of these punctuation marks is necessary in conveying a massage accurately. As such, this study aims to analyze the functions of these punctuation marks in the Malay. This study also aims to reveal the correct use of punctuation marks by teachers dan pupils. Finally, this study will also serve as a guide to teachers on the strategies of teaching punctuation marks. This research evaluates the use of punctuation marks by teachers and pupils.
