Global Histogram Equalization (GHE) is one of the well-known image enhancement methods. Despite of its simplicity and popularity, GHE still has limitations. Therefore, in this work, two novel Histogram Equalization (HE) based methods have been proposed, which are Brightness Preserving Dynamic Histogram Equalization (BPDHE) and Multi-Levels Block Overlapped Histogram Equalization (MLBOHE).
