In an era of globalization, Malaysia has progressed ahead, and human resources are the backbone of determining success. Thus, the most to be considered is the safety and health of workers. The purpose of this study is to identify the level of safety and health awareness among factory workers. Safety and health at work is an important issue in the industrial sector including the manufacturing sector. This is because statistics show an increase in the number of accidents that occur while at work for the manufacturing sector. Therefore, this study was conducted on factory workers in Taman Universiti, Skudai, Johor. This study uses randomly selected respondents from several factories in the Taman Universiti. The use of questionnaires is the main instrument of the study. Data analysis on the level of awareness is by using the mean score while to identify the relationship between demographic factors and the level of awareness is by using the Chi Square test. The results of the study found that the level of safety and health awareness of factory workers is at a high level of awareness with a mean overall score of 4.375 and there is no correlation between demographic factors and the level of awareness. Overall, it can be stated that the awareness level of factory workers is at a high level and this study is important to reduce accidents among factory workers.
