Nevertheless, the mounting for this EMDAP CVT has not been designed and developed yet. The purposes of this project are to design and develop an appropriate mounting for the EMDAP CVT for the car, Proton Gen2 based on DRG EMDAP CVT 3rd prototype. The geometrical analysis is done on Proton Gen2 to get the overall perspective and determine the space available for the EMDAP CVT mounting. Three different mounting points for EMDAP CVT are proposed and the force analyses are made on the proposed mounting points by using the reaction forces acting on the bearings in EMDAP CVT. The appropriate mounting points are chosen based on the force analyses. Conceptual designs are proposed and the best among them is selected to generate the final design. Material selection is made on EMDAP CVT mounting. The detail design is made on the final design and the engineering drawings of the final design are produced zulaihi UTM 112 p.
