The construction of this SLM for helping student to overcome the problems due to individual differences, practical time constraints and weak of references. The content of this MPK is based on Clothing and Fabric and Clothing study syllabuses for first year’s and second year’s students of Bachelor Technology with Education (Living Skill), University Technology Malaysia (UTM). Model that has been used for construct SLM is based on Teras Cabang Model by Shaharom (1994). The assessments of the SLM involved two main phases, Formative Evaluation One to One (PFSS) and Small Group Formative Evaluation (PFKK). The purpose of PFSS and PFKK assessed the suitability of the SLM in terms of texts, diagrams, questions, chapter summaries, activities and learning objectives using questionnaires. Data were analyses descriptively using computer software Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 15.0 to obtain the frequency, mean, percentage and average mean. Finding from average mean showed majority of the respondents satisfied with suitability of the texts, diagrams, questions, chapter summaries, activities and learning objectives that applied in the SLM fahmimoksen UTM 144 p.
