Noh Hazinah Kutty Mammi, supervisor Computing Also available in printed version The evolutions of determination technology become more popular and have been accepted especially by Malaysian peoples and worldwide. This determination technology generally used in mobile devices, Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) or inside the vehicles to help users determine the direction to the locations that they want to go effectively. UTM located in a very large area and this always burden the guest or new student who still not suite yet with UTM’s environment and System Mobile Map UTM (U-Map) have been develop to solve this sort of problem. Users have to download and install the system inside their mobile phone, so that they can use the system anywhere. Nokia E65 has been used as the connecting medium in the implementation and testing phase. Prototype methodology have been used to develop this system and used Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) to develop the mobile application. Moreover PHP, MySQL and Apache have been used to develop the web application snhas UTM 109 p.
