Influx of products in the market with a various type of halal logo make the authenticity of the halal stamp been doubtful. Apart from that, usage of E-Code instead of the scientific name for additive is widely used in product ingredients writing. E-Code are codes for additives that have been assessed introduce by European nation. However, majority of consumers did not know the meaning of each E-Code that been used. In fact, some of E-Code is an additive that may be harmful to health and also might be something illegal. Therefore, the main goal of this project is to develop product status analyzer based on E-Code used in that particular product. In order to achieve this goal, E-Code database need to be develop in mobile device to store the information of the E-Code, which is their halal haram status, their scientific name, their use in product manifacture, and also the side effect of their usage. In accordance with that, results from the development of this project is an Android application that able to analyze the halal haram status of a product based on the ECode used. Therefore, this application can be used by user who wish to obtain assurance for halal haram status of product based on E-Code. Besides that, this application also have a database that stored all information for each E-Code. Hence, user also can obtain information for each E-Code by using this application atiff UTM 103 p.
