There are three (3) main objectives in this study which is to identify both internal and external factors that influence the strength of knowledge culture students' and to identify the difference between internal factors and external factors on the strength of knowledge culture of students' based on gender and educational background. The factors have been identified in these study are the internal factors that include trust, honesty and self-awareness in the students' knowledge of cultural practices. Meanwhile, the external factor involves are parents, friends, lecturers or teachers and physical facilities of the institute. The study involved a population of 90 students. This study was conducted using questionnaires. Number of items in the questionnaire contains 60 items developed by the researcher. The reliability of this questionnaire was tested with Alpha Cronbach value is 0.85. Meanwhile, questions the validity of the items were derived through discussions with the two lecturers. Data were analyzed by using Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS) version 15.0. Type of analysis data has used in this study is descriptive. The overall results of this study showed that both internal and external factors that affect the strength of knowledge culture at the high level with mean value where the 4.12. This study was showed that the findings mean of the internal factor is 4.22. Meanwhile, the finding of external factors was showed that the mean value is 4.03. Mean value for the internal factors are higher than the mean value of external factors. Thus, this study shows that the internal factors have more influence on the strength of knowledge culture among the students’ snhas UTM 133 p.
