It serves as a shelter and also provide security for families. Nowadays, there are various type of house in property market to fulfil preference of home buyer that they desire, so they can enjoy the satisfaction and have good quality of life. Home buyer especially under My First Home Scheme who seeking for their first house will be consider some factors before they make a decision such as location, physical characteristics, public amenities and psychology factors. Each factor has its own criteria which will be identified through secondary sources like article, journal, book, newspaper cuttings and also previous studies, since the scope of each factor is quite large. This study is conducted to analyse the factors influencing buyer decision under My First Home Scheme. Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur has been chosen as the study area because it is the capital of country, where it become the centre for younger generation to start a new life and actively find their dream house. The primary data has been collected through the random distribution of questionnaire among the residents. Descriptive analysis and cross-tabulation analysis are the methods that will be used to analyze those data. Results for the survey shows that location factor is the main factor that affect home buyer decision under My First Home Scheme and among all of the sub-factor under location factor, surrounding development become as priority for home buyer in considering house purchase. This research can be used as the guidelines for many parties, especially for developer when undertake the new housing project zulaihi UTM 100 p.
