Said, supervisor Geoinformation and real estate Also available in printed version A three dimensional (3D) modelling has been used widely in this modern day to help user picturing the object features from flat surface. In this study 3D model of Two- Seater Rotorway EXEC 162F was created using techniques of scanning and close range photogrammetry. The use of scanning and reflectorless techniques in surveying had been applied in order to create a 3D modelling. Topcon Imaging Station 301 was used for data acquisition and the softwares Topcon Image Master and AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 were used to process the data.The techniques are labour intensive as user can collect point cloud data easily and fast. Meanwhile, the close range photogrammetry technique used photos to create a 3D modelling of the Two-Seater Rotorway EXEC 162F helicopter. Digital Camera Sony Cybershot DSC F828 was used to capture the photos and Photomodeler Pro 5 software was used to process the data. From the data acquisition and data processing stages, the result of this study were 3D model of Two-Seater Rotorway EXEC 162F from techniques of scanning and close range photogrammetry. Measurement comparison of the helicopter part was carried out from the 3D model of the two techniques with the standard specification of the helicopter. Both techniques have the advantages and disadvantages. This study can help the students and lecturers to explore about the techniques of scanning and reflectorless of Topcon Imaging Station 301 used and the close range photogrammetry techniques in creating 3D model. Besides, users can use the result of 3D model in this study to learn the structure of helicopter zulaihi UTM 93 p.
