Thus, it is very important to ensure that wakaf is managed well. In Selangor, the administration of wakaf land is under the responsibility of the State of Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS). In managing wakaf land effectively has become an issue to MAIS. Nowadays, most private and government sector have used GIS database system to improve efficiency in the land management aspects because much more easier. The development of wakaf database is intended to facilitate the administration of wakaf land in the state. With this database, information on wakaf land such as information from JUPEM can be arranged and equipped with adequate land information and stored or viewed digitally. The database was developed using ArcGIS and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Visual Basic 6.0 is used to generate a user interface for database. Wakaf land database can be used to find information, updates and quarry process. In addition, the use of GIS database systems are more secure than using hard copies. System is expected to disseminate information more structured and updated in order to assist the process of development, monitoring and management of wakaf land in the future zulaihi UTM 152 p.
