Thinking is in line with the objective of learning mathematics that emphasizes KBSM mathematical reasoning. KBSM is focusing on creative and critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning; however, at the implementation stage is usually limited to the concentration of procedures skills only. Besides, web-based learning is one of effective alternative in education because this method constructs student-centered learning that supports self-learning. Currently, many web-based learning being subscribed by schools, mainly lead to the test (exam oriented). These are for those students who are going to assemble for the upcoming UPSR, PMR or SPM. Different from the web portals in the market, this web portal focuses on algebraic thinking strategies.The web portals algebraic thinking prefer MOODLE as learning management system with supporting software and open source software supported by PHP. MOODLE has a characteristic as well as interactive and user-friendly design that supports the principles of social constructivism. To ensure the development is systematic, ADDIE’s model which comprises of five phases namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation are adopted. This web portal provide a variety of interesting activities such as Hot Potatoes Quiz, quizzes, assignments, chat, forums, journals, and also included elements of multimedia interactive such as audio, video and animation. snhas UTM 122 p.
