There are four dimensions in the model there are idealize influence, individual consideration, intellectual stimulation and inspirational motivation. The sample consisted of 1150 teachers from twenty-two secondary school in Segamat. The study was conducted by using the survey method and survey instrument used in this study is the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ). The instrument has a Cronbach Alpha value of .9575. of the pilot study of 30 teachers. The questionnaires collected and analyzed by using Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS) version 18 in terms of frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation, t-test and analysis of variance (One way-ANOVA). The study of the MLQ used showed that the level of transformational leadership practices of secondary school principals in Segamat was moderate with mean µ = 3623 and all dimensions of transformational leadership were examined also showed that the mean value of the medium to idealize influence dimension ( ¯= 3855), individual consideration ( ¯ = 3477), intellectual stimulation ( ¯= 3522) and inspirational motivation ( ¯= 3636). The results showed that there were no significant differences in the perception of a Transformational Leadership practices among principals based on gender and teaching experience but there are significant differences based on age,race and years of service together with the respondent. snhas UTM 102 p.
