Basically, the hardware part consists of microcontroller, Bluetooth module, and also, bioamplifier. The software part consists of application program to connect the Bluetooth dongle at the computer to the Bluetooth transmission module and microcontroller. The aim of this project is to develop the ECG instrumentation incorporating a Bluetooth system. Conventional ECG uses wires to connect with to a computer for the analysis of the ECG signals. The improvement in the technology leads to the medical instrumentation up gradation. Therefore, in this project, the ECG signals are transmitted wirelessly and can be displayed using PC or notebook. The ECG signals from the patients are amplified. Then, the analog signal must be converted digital by using the microcontroller. The digital signals produced are then transmitted to PC or notebook by using Bluetooth technology. The PC or notebook will display the ECG waveform captured by using LABview. The ECG waveform is the analyses using other programs. snhas UTM 76 p.
