The role of mechanical engineer today is not limited on designing the mechanical components only but their role has been expanded to help other related areas such as medical and electrical engineering. With the contribution of mechanical engineering in the medical field especially; it is proven that it can help us to help people with different capability such as for those with movement disorder. This study is intended to develop a hand arm glove for tremor patient which is one of the most common movement disorders in our community.Tremor is the most common movement disorder in our community. It usually affects the arms. It might also occur in the neck, jaw and any other part of the body but with similar pattern in which the tremor will begin in the arms and then spreads to the other parts of the body. With the help of our medical technology today, there are many effective treatments is available offering an accurate hand movement for the tremor patients. These treatments include for both medical and surgical method. Unfortunately, many tremor patients are resistant to the current treatments. Some of the treatments will only work for several types of tremor. In response to the above matter, this study is conducted to investigate the issue further. This study is interested in developing an anti vibration glove for tremor patients by using engineering approach and it is hoped with the help of the glove, it can reduce the hand trembling of the tremor patient atiff UTM 317 p.
