Furthermore, many manual systems have been developed based on online system. The aim of this project is to develop the UTM Convocation Management Online System which will upgrade the current system to ease the pre and post graduates in systematically managing their important day as the university student. This system allows the graduates to apply the graduation, checking the status of graduation and placing the order of the graduation photo through online system. Moreover, the status of graduation and the graduation session will be informed by short messaging technology to the graduates who are qualified to attend the Convocation Ceremony. The techniques that have been used towards the current system in this study including the interview, observation and document analysis. This system has been developed using the software likes ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The methodology that has been used is Evolution Prototype Model which is using the object-oriented techniques. It is hoped that this system will assist the Management of Convocation Group and the convocation management for the future year. atiff UTM 158 p.
