| Summary: | The COVID pandemic is a global health crisis with adverse social and economic impacts. Excluding the essential service and natural resource sectors, all other business activities were prohibited from operating physically. This qualitative study aimed to investigate an Islamic microfinance institution’s support towards women entrepreneurs’ sustainability in Johor during COVID pandemic and its subsequent impacts. The case study revolved around the participant’s viewpoint, which were derived using semi- structured interviews to explore a particular issue. A small sample size of 12 women entrepreneurs from the food and beverage sector under an Islamic microfinance institution in Johor, Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM), were involved in this study. The resource- based view theory was employed in this study. Based on the empirical outcomes, AIM provided support via financial capital, debt moratorium, and training. This study also highlighted operation disruption, cash flow issue and higher cost as the key challenges impacting women entrepreneur’s sustainability. The elicited outcomes demonstrate the significance of Islamic microfinance institutions in supporting women entrepreneurs’ sustainability during COVID pandemic. On practical grounds, this study has made key contributions to policymakers, with recommendations provided by the participants.
