Considering colour in design enable designers to create a mood within a space that tells a story and leaves an emotional impact on each individual. However the consideration of colour in architectural design is unaware by designers that primarily they usually concentrate more on spatial form. Nowadays, people are mostly performed their working lives in indoors in office building. The consideration on psychological and physiological responses of the workers should get the attention from the designers with these artificial surrounding. Designers should therefore be advised to improve the surroundings of the office in order to meet the needs and comfort of the working people. Colour will play a role as one of the elements to the psychological and physiological as human organisms are affected by colour both in visual and non-visual basis. Many designers are unaware of the effect of colour on the employees' productivity in office working environment. This research aim is to find out the effect of colours within a space towards office working environment and on the exterior or fa�ade of office building. The objectives of this research are to identify the effect of colours on interior and exterior of office working environment. The study is developed by carrying out a qualitative approach with questionnaire survey as its research method. It is expected that this research to produce a colour strategies choices that could possibly enhance the awareness and encourage the relation between office working environment and colour matters amongst the office building users on psychological and physiological responses and towards office productivity in nowadays man-made environment zulaihi UTM 115 p.
