Thus, it is crucial to identify the factors that can attract the students� intention to sit for professional accounting qualification. This research will analyse all the factors that can encourage the undergraduates accounting student to pursue professional accounting qualification and allocates which of the factor is the most significant and which is the least significant to influence the students� decision whether to sit for professional accounting qualification or not. Quantitative approach was used and the questionnaires distributed to the 114 undergraduate accounting student of Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The data were analysed using frequency percentage, mean and Pearson correlation. The finding showed that salary is the most significant factor while the status of having professional accounting qualification is considered to be the least significant to encourage undergraduate accounting student of Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to pursue the professional accounting qualification. All in all, the independent variables have positive and significant relationship with the intention of undergraduate accounting student of Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to pursue the professional accounting qualification.
