The main purpose of KPH is to reduce the impact on the environment and human health of the rapid development. The main problem in the development of KPH is the unconventional, uneconomical property characteristics and criteria of KPH, such as property costs and high maintenance, less energy-efficient buildings, affecting the environment and social of humans. The study was conducted at the Serviced Apartments Scheme at Cascade Residency, Kota Damansara, Selangor in the administration of the Petaling Jaya City Council. The main purpose of the study is to study the understanding of Cascade Residency residents about KPH in Cascade Residency. The objective of the study was to identify the level of understanding of Cascade Residency residents on the KPH, to research the lifestyle of Cascade Residency residents in contributing to the implementation of the KPH, analysing Cascade Residency's selection factors as having a KPH property. The research method was carried out through academic studies (secondary data) such as the journals and academic books. The purposive sampling method was not probability through questionnaire interviews with 182 owners and observers at Cascade Residency. The information obtained is analysed and described through likert scale, cross tabulation schedule, correlation coefficient, reliability analysis, graphs and tables to help generate recommendations. The proposal summarises for KPH are more efficient in terms of space utilization, environmentally friendly and economical savings, the idea of modifying buildings to elements supporting KPH and enhancing KPH's more conducive to reduce the social problems of the population, increasing the comfort of residents and increasing the value of real estate. The conclusions in this study can help property owners, building managers and Local Authorities provide an action plan in promoting to understand, build and improve property as KPH building, saving in terms of maintenance costs, saving the cost of construction with minimal use of natural resources and energy. zulaihi UTM 156 p.
