Shahmihaizan Mat Jusoh Kamarul Baharin Tawi, supervisor Motor vehicles -- Transmission devices, Automatic Also available in printed version : TL263 M74 2010 raf Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is used in scooters such as MODENAS Passion, Yamaha Ego and Suzuki V100 due to its advantage of automatic function to change speed ratio. The main objectives of this project are to design and develop a CVT speed ratio change mechanism for MODENAS Kriss 110 cc motorcycle. The problem of the current CVT design is the speed ratio of the system cannot be changed manually while climbing a hill and cornering. A CVT speed ratio change mechanism design is proposed to overcome the problem. SolidWorks CAD software is used to produce the design component drawings. Engineering analyses are carried out on few relevant components to identify suitable sizes and dimensions. The design of the CVT speed ratio change mechanism is expected to be applied successfully on the MODENAS Kriss 110 cc motorcycle and can be used effectively in the future. fahmimoksen UTM 96 p.
