However, the change in the Indonesian government administration system from a centralized one to a decentralized system is anticipated to influence organizational factors such as job satisfaction, motivation, and commitment among employees as well as provincial civil servants. These factors plays an essential role (and has) to be elevated to determine the success of the organization. Therefore, this study aims to understand and measure the relationships between decentralization, job satisfaction, motivation and commitment in the Family Planning Agency of South Sulawesi. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data source is a set of questionnaire. 285 employees from the Family Planning Agency were selected to provide feedback through the questionnaire. The data from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis via SPSS and AMOS-SEM softwares. The results of this study show that there are positive and significant relationships between decentralization, job satisfaction, motivation, and employee commitment in the Family Planning Agency. Consequently, this study provides a model, ideas, and guidelines for various parties to support their employees as well as public servants in the provinces to constantly enhance the motivation and commitment in instilling sincerity in carrying out their tasks and achieving job satisfaction. zulaihi UTM 253 p.
