Systematic work must be done to make sure these historical building can be perpetuate in the way to make sure our country heritage will not missing in the rapid development nowadays. The aims of this research are to develop the Database Historical Building of Geographic Information System for local authotity manage the historical building effectively. The handling of spatial and non-spatial data becomes effective, efficient and systematic. Thus the research that has been done concluded GIS elements inside the historical building management which yield the System For Historical Building Management. This research was focused on historical building management (aspect) in Johor Bharu, Johor. System For Historical Building Management that has been developed includes displaying and handling spatial and nonspatial data of historical building and analysis that is related with historical building management. The software that is use are MapInfo 7.0, Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2007. The data that involve are Lot, Road and Historical Building .This research have being expected to solve some problem that related to the historical building management aspect. zulaihi UTM 123 p.
