However, data accumulated in Marine Technology Centre were not compiled into any database system for further analysis. There are currently more than 70 models and over 100 experiments were conducted in Marine Technology Centre since it was launched in year 1994. It is hence the purpose of this research to build an online based database system for Marine Technology Centre in compiling and analysing the model tests information in the centre. The built database system allows user to access via personal computer or internet access with username and password security. Information of models and ships like principal particulars, type of model test, lines plan, model test results and reports are among the input and output of the database. zulaihi UTM 75 p.
