As technology advance, projects implementation has become increasingly complicated. An introduction of BIM in Architectural, construction, and Engineering has changed the way of construction industry operate. Procuring projects with BIM may require different approach. This study explores the Design and Build as a procurement system and assesses the suitability of it to procure BIM projects. A survey on 27 respondents reveals that most of the respondents agreed that the characteristics of Design and Build are suitable for the purpose of procuring BIM projects. This includes that Design and Build allows coordination and communication between designer and contractor, allows early involvement of the contractor, and saving time of construction. D&B procurement system has been found to be one of the most suitable procurement systems to deliver construction projects and projects that adopt BIM especially for BIM level 2. fahmimoksen UTM 136 p.
