Shahrizal Sunar, supervisor Computing Also available in printed version In recent years, social media has becoming human essentials and as a part of their daily routine since it being on top of the prior application to be download and use. Social media such as Facebook, users tend to share the images and videos as personal use so that they may refer to their profile for later purposes or precisely, sharing food images and tutorial videos on how to cook. There was a wide range of mobile recipe book applications as it containing images and videos of recipes, but there was none of them uses the Augmented Reality technology and focuses on specific food product. By using this technology, an application to interact with the augmented display of featured food product will be developed. In this application, user will be provided with several food products with different recipes to be learned by using their mobile phone’s camera. They just need to aim on the picture of the food product brand’s logo or packaging and the system will recognize a corresponding recipe book and displays the augmented display as the user can interact with. This document presents the development process of the application, the final user interface design, achievements along this project, suggestions for future works, methods on how the application will be developed, and their implementation zulaihi UTM 104 p.
