For example by using the hydrologic simulation software, the hydrological data as well as complex mathematic equations could be managed and utilised more efficiently and effectively. In this study, the relationship of rainfall-runoff is established in order to estimate peak flow for the river basin of Sungai Kelantan. Therefore, a model of the study area is simulated by using HEC-HMS. The attribute of the model determined by optional method available in the software. The hydrologic losses is calculated using Equation Initial/Constant, the Clark UH method for runoff transformation, Constant Monthly for base flow calculation and Muskingum method is used to determine open channel routing. Then, the model is simulated from the designed storm for 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 ARI. The result of the study indicated that the present river channel is failed to accommodate the designed storm of every return period zulaihi UTM 107 p.
