The purpose of this study is to identify the method of communication management that is being practiced currently in JKR Slope Engineering Branch (CKC) towards project success delivery. The objectives of this study are to identify communication management elements practiced in managing slope project and to determine the relationship between communication management practice and project success. Another objective of this study is to examine the influence communication management practice towards project success by JKR CKC. Location of the study is JKR CKC involving Head of Project Team (HOPT) and Superintending Officer (SO) team in JKR District. The methodology used for this study use interview and survey research design. Interview was conducted among 2 senior officers in CKC and 2 JKR District. Finding from the interview of 4 respondents shows that in communication management practice there are 4 elements, such as communication tools, communication frequency, communication channel and communication quality. For project success, the findings of interview show 2 elements of project success that is time performance and cost performance. The survey was conducted by distributing the questionnaire to 28 HOPT CKC by hand and 172 SO team send by email and online. The respond from HOPT and SO team is 150 respondents. Data gathered from the questionnaire was analyzed using the descriptive statistic (mean, percentage and standard deviation) and inferential statistic (Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression). The overall mean for communication management practice (3.8928) is high and mean for project success was (3.8435) which also high. The result for correlation shows that there is moderate correlation between communication management practiced and project success which is r=0.653 and correlation is significant at the 0.00 level (2-tailed). The R² indicates that communication contributes 42.2% to project success delivery. Significant Beta coefficient for communication management practiced ß = 0.653 shows that communication management influence project success. From the result analysis, shows that the communication management practice between HOPT and SO team JKR District has influence towards project success. Thus, it can be concluded that JKR currently especially in CKC applied good communication management practice towards project success while managing slope project fahmimoksen UTM 110 p.
