One of the systems used to measure Peer Assessment is called MyPeer. In MyPeer, students assess each other's team skills such as communication, leadership, problem solving, and critical thinking. MyPeer assessment allow students to recognize their strengths and weaknesses in team skills and encourages them to work on improving their weaknesses. In Semester 1- 2016/17 at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), 282 engineering undergraduate students who enrolled in the Introduction to Engineering class were divided into 10 groups for developing a hospital food delivery robot consisting of three subsystems where Faculty of Electrical Engineering students were responsible for navigation system, Faculty of Biosciences and Medical Engineering students worked on developing a robotic hand, while Faculty of Mechanical students worked on the robot’s mechanical machining. While working on this group project, the students used MyPeer for peer assessment purposes. The objective of this study was to identify the challenges in using MyPeer and to design a technology acceptance model for MyPeer. The participants of this study were lecturers and students from engineering faculties at UTM that were involved in using MyPeer during Semester 1-2016/17. A survey was distributed to measure students' acceptance towards MyPeer. The survey was based on four construct from TAM models, which included (a) perceived usefulness; (b) perceived ease of use; (c) attitude towards use, (d) behavior intention and (e) enjoyment. The data from the survey were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results indicated that perceived ease of use and enjoyment have a positive impact on students’ perceived usefulness towards the use of MyPeer. Results also show that perceived usefulness and attitude toward usage have led to students’ positive behavior intention when using MyPeer. sof UTM 127 p.
