The enzyme D-arabitol phosphate dehydrogenase (APDH) of Enterococcus avium facilitates in process of reversible conversion of D-arabitol 1-phosphate to D-xylulose 5-phosphate for the integration of this sugar in Pentose Phosphate Pathway (PPP). As there are no recorded crystal structure of the enzyme, the prediction of this structure is made using I-TASSER. The predicted 3D structure of the enzyme has C -score of 1.07 and further validated by Ramachandran plot and ERRAT. The protein interaction of ligand binding is constructed by AutoDock Tools with D-arabitol 1-phosphate as the substrate and NAD+ as the coenzyme. The amino acids interaction are between Leucine 270, Serine 295 and Tyrosine 94 forming hydrogen bonds with NAD+ and Histidine 65 and Glycine 64 with D-arabitol 1-phosphate fahmimoksen UTM 32 p.
