It was to replace the name of the formerly known as Taman Negara Johor Mersing Islands. The objective of this study is to determine what are the main legal provisions related with Marine Park, the history of Sultan Iskandar Marine Park and its objective of establishment, as well as the effectiveness of the main legals enforcement in Sultan Iskandar Marine Park. The study involved respondents from various levels and grades that are directly involved with the management of the Sultan Iskandar Marine Park. Collecting data in this study was done with a combination of two techniques of content analysis study of documents and interviews. These data were then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the analysis have shown the main objective of Sultan Iskandar Marine Park establishment is to preserve the environment and its rich natural resources. There are 4 legal provisions which have major roles related to Sultan Iskandar Marine Park, the list are National Land Code 1965, The Town and Country Planning Act 1976, The Fisheries Act 1985 and Johor National Park Corporation Enactment 1989. Finally, this study suggests that the role of the Johor National Park Corporation is expanded and the Johor National Park Corporation Enactment 1989 is amended for the purpose of integrating the control between the islands and its waters simalteniously zulaihi UTM 81 p.
