Rahim, supervisor Geoinformation Surveying Also available in printed version Affordable housing is created to help low-income people or better known as B40s to own homes. These initiatives have been carried out by the government to assist these groups by providing affordable housing and the best efforts are always sought to cater to the needs of these groups, but one thing to note is also to look at the effectiveness of this affordable housing targeted this. Therefore, the researcher has set two objectives, namely to know the concept of affordable housing while the second objective is to find out the satisfaction of the residents on affordable housing. The first objective of the study was achieved through a literature review conducted and interviewed with relevant officials. In achieving the second objective of the researcher has collected data by distributing questionnaire forms to affordable housing residents at the site of the study to find out their satisfaction with the price, location of the scheme with major facilities and to ask the views on the capability of this scheme to improve affordable housing schemes at the time to come with the aim of achieving the second objective. The results of this study found that almost all respondents were very satisfied with the price and location of the scheme with the main facilities. In view of the capability of affordable housing schemes, it also shows that their affordable housing schemes can be pioneers or benchmarks on the construction of other affordable housing schemes. At the end of the study, there are several suggestions for affordable housing to be built in the future to be improved. zulaihi UTM 83 p.
