Landslide is rapid movement downward cause by collapse of a mass of rock or earth from mountain or cliff. As the land in Kundasang is fertile it was hard to detect small landslide and as not many research have been done make the information insufficient. The aim of this study is to produce a Landslide Activity Map using LiDAR data and image satellite, and the objective is to identify landslide inventory and landslide anomalies, and to evaluate the capabilities of landslide anomalies for landslide detection. This research is using modern method to investigate landslide location that was LiDAR data and image satellite as it was harder to detect small area landslide using traditional method, thus traditional method is more time consuming and information is deficient. In this study, Landslide Inventory is used produce a Landslide Activity Map by using five (5) indicator for Landslide Anomalies which are 搕ree irregularities, 揇ifference Vegetation Index, 揘ormalized Difference Vegetation Index, 揝oil Adjusted Vegetation Index, and 揙ptimized Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index. Frequency Ratio is used as weightage to validate the map by using random separation of 7:3 ratio. The final product of this study is the Landslide Activity Map for active and dormant landslide. The result show that using the five (5) indicator with the Frequency Ratio method to map Active Landslide Activity Map have the success rate of 52% and predict rate of 34% while for the Dormant Landslide Activity Map show the success rate of 63% and predict rate of 60%. fahmimoksen UTM 66 p.
