Nasir, supervisor Education Also available in printed version This study aims to identify the level competencies of lecturer in teaching and learning of technical subjects at Kolej Vokasional in Johor. The objectives of the study were to identify the level competencies of lecturer in teaching and learning of technical subject and to identify the relationship between level competencies of lecturer and the experiences of teaching and learning along the lesson. This research is a quantitative research by using a set of questionnaire. 94 lecturers were chosen as a respondent and was pick as a random simple from four Kolej Vokasional in Johor. This research was using a set of questionnaire as an instrument that have two main parts which is at part A the item is about background of respondent while for part B have three small section which is B (I) the preparation of lesson, B (II) lesson session and B (III) the problems that happen. This questionnaire has 32 items and at part B the item was use Likert Scale to analyze the data. Each data obtained was analyzed by using Statistic Package of Social Science (SPSS 16.0). The results showed that the respondents give positive response in this research and the lecturer is competent in a teaching and learning of technical subjects. There is also shows that a the relationship between the level competencies of lecturer and the experiences of lecturer in teaching and learning technical subject is weak. zulaihi UTM 94 p.
