The Multi-Sensor Platform consists of a main board and four daughter boards. The main board has four general input ports available to connect four distinct daughter boards, but in this project only two daughter boards are used to test the functionality of the design while two ports are left for any other daughter boards to be connected. These daughter boards have temperature sensor and potentiometer connected to them to get their outputs. An AVR Atmega32 microcontroller is placed at each daughter board to process the data read from the sensors to the central AVR Atmega32 microcontroller at the main board. The data is processed from the daughter boards to the main board through SPI interface where the main board is acting as a master and the daughter boards are acting as slaves. The main board will process the whole data to be displayed on an LCD zulaihi UTM 78 p.
