MyTheses is an in-house developed system, created by librarians from several universities in Malaysia, designed to host the full text of theses and dissertations. The platform represents an enhancement and progression from the earlier MyTO (Malaysian Theses Online) system, moving beyond metadata access to provide comprehensive, full-text availability.

Developed in alignment with the Dasar Akses Terbuka Tesis dan Disertasi IPT Malaysia (Open Access Policy for Malaysian Higher Education Institutions’ Theses and Dissertations), MyTheses strengthens national efforts to ensure scholarly works are more accessible, transparent, and impactful. By making postgraduate research widely available, it not only preserves the intellectual heritage of Malaysian universities but also supports knowledge sharing, academic visibility, and global discoverability.
